The Meyer Rotary Plug Valve is an effective method of unloading dry free flowing bulk materials from silos or storage hoppers. It holds a special advantage over conventional gates where closing against a column of heavy material such as portland cement may pose a problem. The double-clam rotor slices through materials that can pack or agglomerate during storage, such as: gypsum, flyash, kaolin clay, salt, silica, bauxite, grain products and the like.
Structural integrity, dependable dust free operation, and the ability to handle elevated temperatures; all make the Plug Valve ideal for severe service applications. |
